GRIESEL & COMPAGNIE GRANDE CUVÉE EXQUISIT DOSAGE ZERO 2019

This excellent sparkling wine really shows what’s possible in Germany in this field. The wide spectrum of candied fruit aromas pulls you into the well-structured, concentrated, medium-bodied palate. Bone dry with a bright mousse, but so full of character that it balances beautifully. Nobly austere finish. A cuvee of 40% pinot noir, 25% pinot blanc, 20% chardonnay and 15% pinot meunier that was disgorged in June 2024 after 46 months of maturation on the lees in bottle.
